Glangwynedd self-catering cottages are situated on the edge the Dyfi Valley in Mid-Wales on the border of the Snowdonia National Park, with  the beautiful mountain of Cadair Idris only 5 miles away and to the south rises up the wild uplands of Plynlimon and the Cambrian mountains.

The historic market town of Machynlleth, with it's interesting mix of shops, pubs, restaurants and cafés, is just a mile away and an easy walk or cycle ride along an off road cycle path.

The cottages are 9 miles from the beautiful coastline of Cardigan Bay with sandy beach and further south is the seaside town of Aberystwyth, with more shops and a thriving arts centre.

The Centre for Alternative Technology can be reached by a pleasant walk along the lane that passes by the cottages.
